T129 Klipnocky Campout

After about a 1.25 hour drive, we will park near the corner of Klipnocky Road and Brown Road within Klipnocky State Forest (42°23'15.2"N 77°47'59.8"W). From here it is a relatively short hike into the campsite. Our primary activity will be working on setting up camp and building shelters.

This is a great opportunity to improve backpacking skills, hone knot work and get requirements signed off in your Scoutbook. Sunday morning, we’ll break camp and walk .75 miles downhill to the cars.  Finally, we’ll enjoy an amazing buckwheat pancake breakfast at the popular Cartwright’s Maple Tree Inn.
